I’ve been heavily customising the web site this weekend which may have broke a few posts. I changed the featured images to 3 and increased the maximum to 8. This is part of multiloquent-base. There is code at the top set for 4 links but they can be up to 6 but you need to resize them to be two blocks wide instead of 3.

One thing which was driving me bonkers was the recent posts code I could not get any more or any less than 4 posts. I switched themes and still 4. Ah so not a theme setting. Turns out in the wordpress read settings you can set the maximum number of posts on  a page this was set at 4 i changed to 6 as it will work at 3 across and 2 across and obviously 1 across.  

I’ve also embedded google translation on to the footer and found a way of setting article and page backgrounds and also text columns.  I also managed to add an image header for the front page.
